Final Cut Pro Express is a somewhat less full-featured version of Final Cut for people who want something more powerful and flexible than the basic consumer app iMovie, but don't want or need the super-duper-whoopty-doozy everything-and-the-kitchen-sink Final Cut Studio suite. Like Seujiro said, Studio includes several other apps besides Final Cut Pro itself, like Motion, Soundtrack, and DVD Studio Pro. Unless you're considering making a Hollywood blockbuster in your spare time, I'd say there's little to no need for you to shell out the bucks for FCS. :)
final cut studio encompasses final cut express and or final cut pro.... it is just the same way microsoft office encompasses word, excel, ..... final cut studio is the all round software that contains modules such as final cut pro and express.. express and pro are just different versions of each other..!
