What does it mean when water comes pouring out the bottom of my washing machine?

  • It's about 3 years old. The warranty literally expired last week. We are not amused.

  • U know it means you better dump the old one. Or get a bunch of mops on stand by for more leaks.. I hate when that happens. Get luck but it might be something minor so seek help first for investin in a new one.

  • you know, they set things up like that on purpose. The minute the warranty expires, something goes wrong . That way, it's no longer covered under warranty.

I think it might be the water pump .

  • It means you'll be doing laundry at your local laundromat for the time being.

Sorry love, That happen to me last year. It usually happens when you're fighting a bad case of diarrhea and you have no clean undies.

  • it means you have a problem

  • That happened to me last week and I found the the hose that drains it had come loose I tightened it and it worked fine again....I'm sure you checked the hoses and all that stuff though...you could always beat it with a baseball bat to relieve some frustration...xxx

  • Haha, I think that means its time for a new washing machine.

  • Has it started having contractions? Are you its birthing coach?

    breath! breath!!

  • If I remember correctly, this isnt the first time this has happened, am I right? Best thing you can do is drive by the place you purchased it from and hurl it through their front window.

  • It means that you should get your purty azz to the store where you bought it and "make a deal" with the salesperson.

  • that your wash IS done......................

time to get a new one

    good luck
    smile

  • that it's time to mop the floor.

  • It means you been riding the washer way too hard. Try the dryer for awhile. Or go back to the shower attachment. But leave the poor washer alone. No matter how many times you yell at it, the agitator can only go so fast.

  • my machine gave up 2years ago,,ive been buying new clothes ever since...but the dirty ones are realy piling up now.....seamanab x

  • Is it leaking just setting, hole in water make up line. Is it leaking while running. Seal around motor leaking. Is it leaking when draining. Hole in drain line.

  • The good news is they are on sale , somewhere, the bad news is the Maytag repair guy finally took retirement so maybe he can collect for a year or two until someone "steals " that, and because of the influx of import product, also just last week the "new" maytag guy was laid off . Sorry to hear your now starting to see how the "new world order " operates. Good luck!!

  • you might have a bad water valve or a broken drain hoze on the machine.possiby the pump.pull the machine away from the wall and take the back off then turn it on and see where the water is coming from ,depending on how old it is will tell you if you want to invest any money into it .water valve no problem hoze no problem.pump problem,if its old don't waste your time

  • They should honor your warranty being so close to the date!
    Ask, I bet they will.

  • check you hose connection near the bottom of the washing machine. it may be loose. the little plastic washer may need replacing.

  • You may have a worn out or broken hose connection. The hose may have came loose, or maybe a seal in the basket is broken.

  • It means you're screwed.

Glad I could be of help.

  • You have a leak. Sorry. You need to disconnect the power, tip the machine carefully on it's side and view it's gizzards. The leak will usually be evident if you take your time to look carefully at the rubber pipework connectors and areas where there is a pump shaft entering an impeller housing. Often there is a tell tale residue of detergent where it has seeped out. If all is well there, it is possible that the drum seal is leaking, although this would be rare in a newish machine. Take the back panel off to check for this. It may seem obvious, but check the door gasket for tears or becoming dislodged.

  • yep.time for a new one.
