    AND when you hear the name Riley Keegan , do you think it's a girl or boy ??

  • It became a unisex name, and I like it for both a boy and a girl. When I hear it I think about a boy.
    Riley Keegan is definitely a boy's name.

  • to me riley is a boys name....but it have sprung up as a girls name along with Mackenzie, Aaron, Rory, Lee etc....

    You have to think of when they are older because when I worked in an office and got a list of newstarts it was always amusing guessing what people would be because on one list I had an Ainsley, lee, leigh. lindsay, and pat!!! which as you are aware are all unisex names, fyi they were all girls except for leigh who was a big stocky man. So I think it is better to go with a name you know who is going to walk in the door. Also when the baby is born and is dressed in cream, people will ask you what their name is, do you really want them then having to ask what sex it is cause babies generally look like babies unless the pram is full of either pink or blue toys.


  • I am from Vancouver, WA and I think it sounds like a girls name. I have a lot of friends by the name of Riley and all of them are girls. But it can me a boys name as well. I actually do know one boy name as Riley. I love Riley no matter what. ;)

    Seeing as it has been used on both sexes I think it should be wiped off the names charts and people should stop using it.
    I know three little boy Riley's and two little girl Rileys as well as an older girl Riley.

    It is a boring, trendy, unisex name that has no excitement.

    Riley Keegan sounds like a boy, but in this day and age, it could very well be a girl.
