Does it seem girls have no respect for themselves anymore? Long story, what do you think?

Okay, here's the thing. My sister in law and her b/f have been together for about 6 years. He has cheated, but as far as she says its been a long time. They split, got back together and it's been great for the last 3 years and some odd months. Anyways, I guess he went out with some friends to met a girl his friend liked and ended up getting drunk and sleeping with her. The other girl im him on myspace to talk and he told her he has a g/f, and that it can't be any more then friends and he was sorry. His g/f knows and they are working through it. Well, today is sweetest day and they spent most of the day together, but the other girl got on im and was talking which didnt seem to big of a deal since it was a friendly convo. About a half hour in, her b/f said that he couldn't believe some people and told his g/f to read the im. On the im... here's the jist:
him: so are you feeling better today
her: yeah... so what are you doing today
him: spending with the g/f...u
her: not sure...u busy tonight?
him: dont know, prolly why?
her: cause i want to see you
him: why
her: u know y
him: no i dont... is everything okay
her: i want to know if u want to come out and make me happy
him: ummm...... i have a g/f
her: i dont' care, its not my fault u ****ed me and i want more

At this point he got off and she read this and called the other girl. The other girl, laughing said yes it was true and asked when he would be out. My sister in law burst into tears and can not believe this. I called and asked the other girl if she was being serious, and she said yes... i said dont you have respect for your self and she said yes. I said it was hard to see that. She said some choice words. And then i asked her what if this was her b/f, how would she feel and she said its happen to her, so she dont care anymore. she wants sex and wants that guy. no relationship yet...just sex. She's 23 and my sister in law is 26 and he's 28. He didnt do anything tonight and has blocked her, but he feels bad... Is this a new thing with girls now a days? My brother is 22 and hes says he can meet a girl and sleep with them in one night. What do you think is going on with girls that they have no respect for themselves or anyone else.

Honestly...I don't know. I am 20 years old, married, and have only been with my husband. The idea of going out there and just sleeping with someone you don't know is disgusting to me. Knowing that that man has a mate is even worst than that. I don;t understand how that girl can sleep at night! It's strumpets out there that really make me worried about the woman that will be available for my son in the future. This woman that you speak of must be some type of bottom feeding heifer to openly try to take another woman's man! Now Normally am a very gentle person but her actions would warrant a smack down. Let's not forget that the bf is not innocent by any means. If he had kept his pants up this entire situation would have been averted. I would tell you sister in law that she deserves better than a man that whispers sweet nothings one day, and jumps in bed with a stranger the next. Back to the dirty strumpet...No she doesn't respect herself. She might have some self esteem issues which she masks with random hook ups and "mean girl" syndrome (Sorry I am a psych major...I can't help myself). This broad needs therapy, a beat down, and a chastity belt.

Not all girls are like that. What I am more concern is why is your sister in law having a bf?
